Holi, the shower of Happiness

Let’s make this Holi more colorful,

Adding many more colors to the sorrowful,

Reaching out ourselves to the needy;

Making their rhythm of life more melody.

See the colors, red, orange and the other remaining,

All are different but they are called,

Colors;

And so the Lily, Jasmine, Rose and the other remaining,

All are different but they are called,

Flowers;

As the Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, Jains and Christians,

Who belong from different religions;

And the regions,

Even though they are called, Indians.

We are all brothers and sisters,

Sprouting from the same root,

Flowers of the same Garden;

And so let’s be a good Warden,

To each other far and near,

As we celebrate the feast of Holi living together;

And so we wish a happy Holi each other.
