Helios Warns
Helios Warns
I have watched you all for ages now, perched on my seat high above.
Watching you all stumble and bustle; in your mundane daily hustle.
Day in and day out, you desperately struggle for pelf; and forget everyone, but yourself.
You think, only your species matter on this ball of dirt; and every other being is born to serve your whims and quench your thirst.
But I, who was born before many a star know that you are not the first; nor will you be the last to crawl on this planet, and dare call it home.
With each passing day my temperature flares; And you all squirm under my single piercing gaze.
But, not all is lost, it is not too late to change. Consider it a warning or a threat;
Change your ways, or I will make sure you are gone long before you can regret.
