HARVEST
HARVEST
Having grown for many months
With love, care and fodder
It was ready for harvest
Sleeky, silky and perfectly grown
It stood like a small forest
Winning the hearts of onlookers
Dancing in the summer breeze
Oh, look at the water bead on its tip
Like a shining pearl from deep seas
But at last the day has dawned
The crop is ready for harvest
With a frown he walked into the shop
Reluctantly, to get a haircut
