Should I blame darkness

for forcing us to see

the loneliness of a half moon

instead of its full beauty?

How the other is brightest

while the other hides idly

lying on the same bed

with half-truths spoken coldly

They chose silence

over comfort and honesty

Buried hurts while hoping

for time to pass by quickly

Half regret, half ignorance

a full love done separately

both halves thinking
