Greenery

Amidst the spring she stands absorbing the green.

Amidst the lush of grass, with brown and green in her eyes.

The mango tree loaded or rather overloaded with bloom;

Sways thrilled by the gusty wild wind.

Every day it blooms more and more.

Each day I see the blue-green bird,

And the fawn bird, its friend.

The blue-green is a little bird, yet so pretty …

The peacock-blue hovers like a butterfly,

And sucks from the yellow and scarlet representatives of spring.

Amidst the green she stands with storm in the black cascade;

With storm in the huge old greens.

Amidst the rain she stands,

With hands thrown up, welcoming the shower …

And amidst her stands the spring.
