Gracious
Gracious
Standing in the twilight, reflecting on myself,
Of the ungrateful diamonds & silk on ourselves.
The gifts I have to buy, the presents I need,
This world isn't sufficient for our greed.
So I took a small step, to acknowledge what the goodness sends,
Having acceptance, with the nature that blends,
The way it transforms every drizzle into the rain,
A tree to a forest, a small path to a lane.
Thanksgiving to the trees, the sky in the dawn,
The roses that bloom, a way for me is drawn.
I behold that gratitude in the depths of this soul,
The human race is thankful as a whole.
As the silver ray passes the plushy cloud,
I'll live in mindfulness, I express it loud.
