Gone Are Those Days
Gone Are Those Days
Gone are those days of innocence and play
Those gardens with dew and those castles of clay
You sit and wonder which turn did you took
How did you reach where you are today!
What prices did you pay?
How much did it cost?
To buy your happiness you gave yourself away
There used to be a child with a witty smile
Whose imagination was vast, but he was always at bay
The kid all grown up is a coward today
He lives life like how the people say
A handsome Salary and a white-collar job
"That'll keep you happy, anyway!"
But deep down he knows that's not enough
So he yearns for the things from the good old days
That childlike innocence and his castle of clay
