God's Fury
God's Fury
The accumulated riches
That you bathe yourself in
Can’t save you away
From the frowns of Death;
A single handsome deed may!
The burgeoning ego
That you have nourished within
Can’t win you a hearty smile;
A single humble act,
An unconditional apology, may!
The all-encompassing greed
That you unconsciously feed on
Can’t let you experience
The true bliss of sublime happiness;
A will and zeal to spend your life,
Helping the deprived live in peace, may!
Shed these piled trashes, you devious brat;
Confess your mortal sins
With all modesty and honesty,
So I may consider reinfusing in you
The 'milk of human kindness'
That your battered self has left to dry.
