Girlfriend

My girlfriend is so unique,

Never truants me like you.

Without resembling you,

She remains so simpatico 

And renders me 

Cosy lap to sleep beneath 

Her raven hair. 

The way she snuggles to me, 

Makes me feel 

That I am not alone 

In this mortal world 

And unlike you, 

She has promised 

With her vivid eyes
