Ships sail on the sea

Clouds sail in the sky

But friendship neither sails nor fly

Instead, it shines and twinkle like stars 

And face no bars

That what friendship says

I am hollow like a pipe

You need to blow your love inside

I am puffed like a balloon

Fills everyone's life with festoons

I am sad when I am broken

It hurts. It pains, rolling tears 

But I am again all with cheer

When you fill my glass with beer

For someone I am precious

For others like a grain of sand

Which does not stay for long

It slips away from your hand

I am needy I am active

I make a proper solution

Having dissolved purities 

With love hatred wisdom and truth

I give gusto to life

I never reveal your secret

Always true to oneself

That's what friendship all about

I bring out the child in you

For I am playful and jolly

I keep you ignited and vibrant

Light gets punctured on my journey 

To heal the world with love

But friendship never dies

Respect me, I am precious

Catch me, I am fabulous 

When you watch a fish

Who shivers and dies 

When taken out of water

So will I, never do that to me

Embrace me with open arms 

I am vital for your life 

So as the air you breathe
