Freedom

A caged bird craves for the sky

Firm are the wings that want to fly.

A bird in the sky is in sorrow

For being free,

Having no lush green tree.

Trees too have wounds given 

By the hands with axes.

And hands have been enjoying

Freedom for a few ages.

For the bird,

Freedom is both- 

Cage and Sky.
