Farmer's Suffering

This year,

Inspite of pandemic,

Farmer's has a bumper crop,

All his storege is fulfilled,

He has food grains,

Excess to his requirements,

Now he is in trouble,

How to keep this excess.

The Govt has declared MSP,

But for that to get,

One has to sell it in Mandi,

For that,

There are innumerable formalities,

One requires lot of sophistication,

Which a simple farmer,

Can not arrange,

So his crop is lying at home,

Or he is selling,

At a throw away price,

To the dealer.

Therefore of what fun is,

The MSP,

When one has to sell,

At a throw away price.

Suppose if tomorrow,

Govt assures MSP by law,

What is the Guarantee,

That farmer will get that.

I have one suggestion,

Let all the farmer sell or purchase,

Through smart card,

Programmed in such a way,

That it don't transact,

Below MSP.

Than if anyone gives MSP,

He will be able to get,

Or otherwise not.
