Fading Away
Fading Away
As I meander on these lonesome streets under the moonlight,
Which show the signs of placidity and serenity,
Yet the chaotic mess that I'm comprised of and,
The cacophony of nothingness inside of me,
Never fails to beckon me with the realization that,
I'm fading away.
I'm fading away,
Of my ability to love passionately,
Of my listlessness for aiming higher in life,
Of all the obscure things yet to be achieved,
Of my only home, that resided in you.
Uncertain of where it takes me to,
I walk in a tranquil silence,
Hoping for a way that leads to nothing but paradise.
