Eternal Hunger

Hunger

A sleepless monster

Of many faces

It was born with humanity

A megalomaniac dictator with

Fancy for fear

Reigning the mortals


With its hypnotic burning kiss

A constant itch like a leech

Feeding their ego

With power, money, fame

Till fat with arrogance and ignorance

Blind with delusions

Like a fool in fools' paradise

It devoured them empty

Left with only darkness and madness

While the insatiable monster

Roams on

With eternal hunger.
