Distribution Of Algae

Volvox, spirogyra, Zygnema, 

Grow on stagnant water;

Oedogonium, Cladophora, Chaetophora,  

Are free-flowing stream's matter. 

Calerapa and Acetabularia,  

Grow in Marine ;

Pneumococcus and Trentepohlia,  

In terrestrial, they shine. 

Scotiella has a different glow, 

As it glows only on snow. 

Some algae are parasites, 

While some are epiphytes. 

On pepper plant grows Cephaleuros, 

On sphagnum grows Phyllobium;

Colechaete grows outside other plants, 

While inside grows the Chlorochytrium. 

Let lichens get some focus, 

As they hide Cladophora and Pleuococcus. 

Algae are found in these seven regions,

And that too in different seasons.
