Disguised As A Transgender

Nurtured for nine months in the womb,

A ravishing infant was all ready to come out with bloom.

Mother was operated and a life sparkled,

Unfortunately, this birth made doctors completely crackled.

Nothing good they had to narrate,

Other than cursing the parents’ fate!

‘Its a trans’, the doctor faintly exclaimed,

Making the delighting cheers drained.

Nothing could that mother even recall,

If it was all true or may be a disguised fall.

An utter grief took the moment in its grip

When whoops became mewls, within a blink!

Disheartening was to see the family’s deny,

Sadly, even those parents had no sense of shy.

‘How can a transgender be someone’s child?’

Questioned the opinionated father, as he became wild.

Unaware of his plight was then that newborn,

Who became a curse, to be overlooked from dusk to dawn!

As the infant kept crying on his cradle,

Our pathetic society gave him a neglected label.

Hardly an hour to his birth had passed by,

When a transgender troupe entered to culminate the sigh.

Hospital resonated with ear-piercing claps,

And no-one could then grumble for any lapse!

The trans leader took infant in her arms,

Kissed his forehead and beheld his charm.

‘We would nurture this shining star in our world,

No matter it’s a trans, a boy or a girl..’

Trumpeting her words with all love and vigor,

She vowed to cherish the kid with every glitter!
