Discovering Myself

Discovering Myself

1 min
94

When you sang the song of separation,

I could see the tears in your eyes.

I wondered why, for you were my inspiration,

For you told me to live as myself, not in lies,

You taught me many things,

To always look inwards,

Be true to yourself, always,

Introspect on what you are;

To learn to follow your heart,

Till the end of your days, from truth never be far,

Discover the beauty of the inner you,

Discover the beauty that lies,

In knowing what is true,

Your song of separation,

Speaks of men gone astray,

Of men in a state of depression,

Of discovering yourself to find a way.
