Dilapidation
Dilapidation
With a trophy in hand, she came back home,
But to her misfortune, she knew she was all alone,
For her dad was at work and her mom too,
The babysitter also left after bidding adieu.
Even the tears fall in pairs now,
She wished she wasn't that miserable.
Rather be alone together
With someone who wants to be alone forever.
She could only talk to dolls for hours,
Wishing them to come alive by magical powers.
Because her parents would never love their child,
Knowing this she was slowly dying from inside.
Now she sees no gimmick,
Cause she's been used to it.
These gadgets are turning us into heartless beings.
We all would rather live not with people, but things.
