Delightful Diwali

Diwali has come, sparks are all around

I am not upset anymore, as my relatives are here to surround

I gaze upon the lamp’s gleaming glow

Oh what a sight! What a wonderful show!

 

Vibrant colors illuminate the night 

Filling the air with joy and delight.

The feeling of bliss fills up the air

Sweets and candy people share 

 

 

Even though all minds aren’t clear,

Diwali spirit is felt, bringing everyone cheer

All differences, people embrace

And have fun together with immense grace

 

 The fireworks display is a sight to behold

A celebration of togetherness as stories are told

In this moment, all worries fade

I will remember these memories forever, and this is a promise made.
