Dearest Dad
Dearest Dad

Holding your hands I learned how to walk,
You made me adapt the habit 'Think Before You Talk'.
I grew up and life turned into a mess,
You gave me the courage to handle stress.
Made me realize 'What Is The Truth Of Life'.
No one is yours, everyone has a knife.
Stay humble, have a hunger for success,
Anything can kill you if it is in excess.
You're experienced,I thought it was the generation gap
And your Lap is the best place for me to nap.
You sacrificed a lot in order to fulfill my wish,
Slept empty stomach, never had any dish.
Still there is much more to learn from you,
Can't imagine my life without you Dad - It's true.
You've always been a friend, well wisher and obviously a great Dad,
Who brought the best out of me, which I didn't know I even had!!
