Dead Man's Dream

Waking up steep, but taking it slow.

In the wake of the feet,

Taking him to what he cannot fear.

Crowned. A dark halo above.

Inhaling the aroma of the feast

The feast by death.

Thankful to the gracious host.

Dancing, waltzing, the voices of laughter,

Titillated by the fangs, made merry.

For the day had come

The silk was to be adorned with red.

Swam past the bodies, to the curtained truth.

And laid him down on the throne.

The rightful heir.

Eternity summoned and placed by him.

No foes, no traitors.

"Please give me ONE!"

Hands sewn together, sickening and rancid

Fed the rats and killed them all.

Fluid earth, too treacherous to climb.

He lives, He rules.

Conquered by all.

Hails the throne

And hopes it will move on.
