Days

There are days when the choices I made weigh too much. 

Days, when the multiplicity of paths to be followed, is frightening, 

Days when the absence of my loved ones is untenable, 

Days when I need to rediscover strength, 

Days when I have to look inside to remember, why? 

Sore days exist.

Light and sunny days, too.

Days of gratitude for the love and support given to me.

Days that justify the courage to dream.

Days that support the choices.

Days of poetry, laughter and joy.
