Believe that every breath you take

Would bring a breath of life

And renew the air to survive 

Indulge in the secrecy of the pen

As I take letters to form words

Words to create a picture

A vision of what is said 

Power is in the beholder of the pen

Power to captivate and influence 

Power so great 

That it is easily misunderstood 

Mind and soul

Rejoice in unity

As the flattery of the pen

And the writer's creativity 

Takes its readers 

Through time 

Either to the future 

Or to a lingering yesterday's
