Come With Me
Come With Me

Come, walk with me into the streets of gaiety
To inhale the placid air
Let’s think no more of this pandemic pain
That embalms the entire earth alive
Come, go dine with me near the river banks
And later join the ecstatic fish
That happily spread their fins in the water
Enjoying their free and contented lives
Come, dance to the sound of the quiet breeze
Under the shady trees of banyan
That saves us from summer’s unrelenting heat
And heal the world with unique medication
Come, go follow the isolated camels
In the faraway deserts
To listen to their melancholic reality of life
And then let’s chant a relieving song for them
Come, let’s raise our voices to the God above
In a confession to all our misdeeds
And let’s extend our pledge
That we shall never abandon our Mother Nature again.
