Clockwork Mouse Meets MR.Hare

Around and round about the house

Whizzed so fast the clockwork mouse ;

He watched the bright moon in the sky

And wondered why he wondered why

That globe grew lesser night by night...

And then it disappeared .. What a fright!

"I wish I could go to the moon !" he said.

"I can make that happen !" came a voice ahead.

He saw in front of him a tiny fairy,

With gossamer wings, so light and airy!

She waved her wand and in a trice,

The toy room was empty of any mice!

Mr.Mouse found he was on the moon!

He wondered how he got there so soon ...

"Hello!" he heard a voice, 'it was Mr.Hare,

Who loved the moon and resided there ;

"The moon doesn't vanish, it's always there',

Reassured was the mouse by Mr.Hare.

Mr.Mouse and Mr.Hare are now fast friends,

And that is how this magic story gaily ends.
