Amidst a silent dark summer night

while reckoning the darkest hours of life

Heart ached terribly loud and high with

All emotions peeping out of watery eyes.

Recalling all the events of misfortune

Sadly and slowly I counted them all

One to many encroached my merriment

Leaving behind a carcass of fate.

All the charm and melody of life got lost Just as the dews vanish upon sunrays fall.

When the love of life departed from my soul

To make me desolated and leave me alone.

Then knocked futile allaince of nuptial tie

that made me weaker from deep inside.

Dreams got rusted and reliance died

Left with a rotten relationship behind.

The pain of losing a new life to be born

as killed by the poison of hatred in the womb.

Was so tough to bear the trauma as a mom

Still embossed in the heart as a deep scar

A calm breeze then reminded me of

Those blessings in disguise that I missed to count.

The love of parents and siblings around

A carefree life spent with all peas in pod.

The beauty of mother nature far beyond

The joy of seeing rainbow after every storm.

The delight of aroma and colours of spring.

The shivering winters and summer warmth.

The rotten relationship, scars and lonliness,

then could not make my soul blue anymore.

With a realisation that misfortune never last

But blessings are always to heal you more.
