BELIEF
BELIEF
What if the stars don't show direction,
What if the storms sway me away,
What if the trees give bitter fruits to eat,
What if my ship has to go upstream,
What if the thorny path bled my sole,
What if my shadow refuses to go along,
What if justice is hard to found,
What if the suffering is seen all around,
What if people refuse to fight,
What if women cry for justice,
I have lamp that lightens my soul
Slowly and steadily with radiance it'll glow,
I know you there a guiding light,
To rescue me, safely in the glowing limelight
