Beggar
Beggar
You are not supposed to push and abuse.
A healthy man, no work can be your excuse.
But work is rare even for the educated.
Due to this, BEGGARY I selected.
I have to cry and wear tatters.
My self respect I have scattered.
I sing in pain and on my face keep strain.
My hunger’s fire I can’t explain.
Give no alms, no worry.
But don’t show a face scary.
I have a wife and two children.
I can’t boil them in hunger’s cauldron.
Few coins, the change, my day can change .
These metal pieces have a power strange.
I will pray for you and your progeny
An empty hand will bless, it’s time’s irony.
I will bless even without any favour .
My tongue has got a blessing’s flavour.
You live long and prosper.
But to me something you offer.
I hate to beg and demand alms.
But I am a culprit of POVERTY’s scams.
