Bathe In Lights

The color of lights bathes my skin,

To erase the darkness synonymous with pain

Sleeping on the laps of lights,

I devour sweet thoughts

Soaking in the sweetness of lights,

I put an end to all my plights

Everyone's hearts are weaved together,

To create a peaceful river

Everyone's thoughts are grouped together,

To strengthen our unity forever

Diwali is not only a festival of lights

It is also a festival that allows humanity to reach greater heights

A day filled with joyous smiles

A day where the happiness doubles

It is a day that allows the good to defeat the bad

It is a sacred day where the demon is killed by God

Ignorance is overpowered by wisdom

Peace crushes the wrath to attain freedom

The prosperous Diwali enlightens our path,

To help us seek the truth.
