Chronicles of Firsts

Chronicles of Firsts

The firsts of my life,

etched deep in my mind,

a treasure trove of memories,

of joy, love and strife.

The first kiss that I shared,

with someone I held dear,

igniting a flame of passion,

a love that I still revere.

The first monsoon that I saw,

with its thunder and lightning,

a wonder of nature's power,

a sight that was so striking.

The first solo trip I took,

to explore the unknown,

a journey of self-discovery,

a feeling that had grown.

The first regret that I had,

for a mistake that I made,

a lesson learned the hard way,

a price that I had paid.

The first fear that I faced,

for a challenge that was new,

a moment of uncertainty,

but I found the strength to pull through.

The first discovery that I made,

that led me to become a poet,

a passion that was ignited,

a path that I had chosen.

The first love that I felt,

that made me write this verse,

a feeling so pure and divine,

that made my heart immerse.

The firsts of my life,

a journey that's still ongoing,

a tapestry of experiences,

a story that's worth telling.
