April Fool

Deceived by the promises of love,  

the trickery so sweet from above.  

Believing every word and plea,  

but it was all just fantasy.  

Like a fool, I fell for you,  

blinded by the promises.  

But now I see your clever game  

and I feel nothing but shame.  

Deception is your twisted thrill,
