Apotheosis Of Love

Apotheosis Of Love

Where am I? Oh! Where am I?

I feel so formless
yet no uneasiness
Where am I?
It feels like many a week
yet I do not feel weak.
Oh! Where am I?
Spare me the mystery
for you alone feed me.
Where am I?
Ah! finally a faint sensation
Am I an incarnation?
Where am I?
Oh! they're my fingers,
yet the confusion lingers
Oh! Where am I?
I hear something!
A rythmic beating.
What is it?
OH! Where am I?
A ray of light!
Hey, its my sight.
Tough luck I still
cant find the hilt.
Oh! Where am I?
I kick about
in a frenzy bout.
Oh! My strenth
and its old scent.
Yet I know not,
Oh! Where am I.
I feel like you squeeze
yet am still at ease!
Oh! The wondrous feel.
I am alone
but feel not lone,
for your unseen presence
has become my essence.
I hear your voice
talking, singing, preaching
and loving.

What a friend you are!
'Be with me forever'
my prayer.
Where am I?

to the thought
I give an eye.
Your love is a bounty
and it comes aplenty.
but then...
I start to drift
away as if
we had a rift.
A pang of agony
and all I do is cry.
Ignorant of what beholds
I reach out to you
to hold.
Washed into a new world
harsh and cold
I wail for your warmth
and close my eyes
I hear a painful wail
it was yours,
I flail.
With fear and pain
little sight I gain
all the while in fear.
A faint cheer I hear
I look up
and it was you.
Your loving smile
a gentle touch
and a little kiss
were all I had
thought amiss.
All my despair
had gone into thin air.
Then I knew not who
'you' were,
but now I know
Dear Friend
you are my
'MOTHER'.
