Apostle

There was a man whom i knew ,

A man of wisdom who ran anew.

A smiling face that breath new life,

To all the people that came in sight.

A pair of eyes that knew no hate,

For there was only love to share.

A rare breed of being i found he was ,

With neither malice nor animus.

A gift of God he carried with him ,

A duty to spread love unconditionally.

The ocean of knowledge he hid in him ,

Benevolent and kind he shared with me.

All those days spent i with him,

Taught me the policy to give and give.

A gentle soul that trusted all ,

Caring not for his own plight.

A generous heart that gave and gave,

No matter the time , place or name.

He was the one to walk hand in hand,

He was the one to shape my mind.

A temple here a cafe there ,

A pond here a school there.

We walked many a mile chatting about,

Marking the places of interest and devout.

.All those days i spent merrily,

Went past by surreptitiously.

He left us alone with enough to bare,

To write a story for ourselves from here.

He was a mentor , a guide and tutor,

He was an apostle in human armour.

He is the reason for who i am ,

He is the reason for the knowledge i have.

The memories he left keep calling me ,

Tugging at my heart they inspire me......
