All Things Grow
All Things Grow
All things grow
Like this flower in my block
A tiny spot the other day
Captivated in its own petals
Now blooms like a widening smile
Like the sun that diminishes into nothingness
Then gradually grows from a mere
Paint in the sky to its full splendor
It grows into our days
Our days grow in it
Like my heart of its own accord.
Silently, it weeps with its aches
Turbulently it fights all its breaks
Numbly it slumps to the pits
Afresh it awakens, like a child
On which the sun bestows its magic
Like my Being under the veil
Until not long before
Now awakening into consciousness
All things grow!
