A Tale Of A Mother

A Tale Of A Mother

1 min

The under illustrated folk tale

Playing on local instruments

By an artist from the village

Presented before the audience

In the city who were

Greatly moved and

Clapped thunderously cheering

Not neglected like the sons

In the city, an ailing

Mother was well looked

After by her son in a village

To solve her eye problem,

He wanted to take her to

 The town, the mother asked,

"What would you do

If my eyes are not

Cured in the town ?"

"Then I would take you

To the big hospital

In the city"

"And what would

You do if nothing

Happen to my eyes"

"Then I will sell my

Five-acre fertile land

I Will take you to America

You will become alright there"

The tears rolled on

The mother's cheek to

Hear her beloved

Son's words

"No no, my dear son,

My eyes are alright now"

She said while hugging

"Dear mother what

Would you do if

My eyes are spoiled ?"

The son eagerly asked

"I would replace

Your eyes with my eyes."

Was the mother's instant reply

The scene was filled

With emotion when

The son affectionately

Hugged his mother.
