A Scourge :- It's Time To Look

I look around

For someone who would help me heal my wound

Take me somewhere away from here

Away from these jails that I don't prefer

Paving through the stone

Feeling abandoned like I am thrown

My parents are my savior

For the society's stereotypical behavior

The intrinsically different ignorance

Never gives me a chance

I am proud to be brown

But the religious beliefs make me bow down

I have seen the rich spend a lavish life

And the poor suffering a bitter

It's high time for us to be together

And work hand in hand in the future

For long I have been waiting for equality

Even for liberty and fraternity

Yet the claims made by the people

Don't seem to work real

No laws of man in the extreme

Could help us fulfill the eternal dream

So many questions to change , where do we start is the question indeed

For the most difficult part lies ahead

What would we do to change for this Earth ?

Equality to show everyone's worth.
