A Lot To Say
A Lot To Say
We wait for sunshine, as sun shines brightly,
We fear darkness as night falls lightly.
We run after supremacy, oblivion of mirage,
Swarthiness is a night howler, stuck up in a phage.
There’s no Midas touch, the thought is clear,
Catastrophic emotions that bumble fear.
Stand by the world here prosper and relieve,
Hide deep a cannibal, a heart sans grieve.
Faces brighten up faces, we cherish harmony,
Not a second to bloodshed it is an instinctive alimony.
To Live and let live, is to love and care,
Holy books, hymns and scriptures give a wisdom’s dare.
Scared of the guns, too tired to plant more roses,
Humanity has a lot to say, only if one listens and pauses.
