A Heart With No Heart
A Heart With No Heart
Speak not my heart,
Nor does he utter;
For in secret,
He cries and cares
For another heart,
A heart having no grace,
No passion,
As hard as diamond.
But! I oft wondered,
In spite of having no heart,
She's happy always.
Yes, a heart she has with no heart.
She is a heart with no heart.
Like a summer night
Without moonlight;
Like cuckoo,
Came she to left;
Left me she without green light.
Flew away like a migrant bird
Leaving no hope to be ever returned.
Shower of tears rained down;
Heart like the summer snow melted.
For I didn't cry for the person lost;
But for the lost heart,
A heart dark as the winters fog,
Cried I million tears.
My conscience,
However protests
Against the lost tears and comforts saying,
Winter's gone,
Spring has it's entry.
Awake! Gird thy loins up, and come.
The spring flower awaits you.
