A BUTTERFLY'S FLIGHT
A BUTTERFLY'S FLIGHT
A butterfly, so dainty and light,
Floats through the air, with wings so bright,
It flutters by, a gentle breeze,
A beauty to behold, a sight to please.
It dances through, the summer air,
A wonder to behold, beyond compare.
Amazingly, it lands so light,
On a flower's petal, pure and bright.
It sips the nectar, so sweet and pure,
And then it flits, beyond a cure,
It takes to flight, a joyful sight,
It soars above, with all its might.
The butterfly, its beauty grand,
Flies off to find, another land,
The butterfly flies away,
Leaving a memory, to this day.
Its beauty lingers, like a dream,
A sight to cherish, a wondrous beam,
Though it's gone, its memory lives,
A vision of grace, it forever gives.
