21st Century Kids
Tiny like buds we enter into this world,
Like a ball, we are curled.
Blooming like flowers we grow up,
We now know to use the word 'sup'.
We grow up and become eighteen,
We don't speak and people call us mean.
We open up where we find comfort,
And society tags us as total flirts.
We are twenty-two and want to achieve our dreams,
Along with vibing to the beats and savoring cookies and cream.
We are the youths and will rise high,
You just need to accept us and let us fly.
All the emotions inside us; we bear it alone,
With time all our sentiments blew.
This is what defines our generation,
Who will work for the nation's Reformation?
