Mogambo Khush Hua!!

Children were really afraid to play near the temple ground. Although it was the largest area of their village; they were not willing to go there.

The single cause was Mogambo... The villain of that village who used to shout loudly at anybody who dared to enter near the surrounding of his house which was next to the temple.

Whenever children played there, and by mistake, their ball went to the garden or struck the door of Mogambo, he would shout on all till they left that place and then would say loudly, 'Mogambo Khush Hua!!'... He would also keep the ball with him forever. Due to his harsh behavior, not only the children but also their parents began to maintain distance from him.

That was also a normal day, just like any other. But Preeti faced something that made that day completely memorable for her.

Not with any intention but out of her absent-mindedness; Preeti went near the temple where Mogambo was carrying out his morning walk. Preeti was in her own thoughts... Their exams were already over and they all needed refreshments and recreational activities during that time but as they were not allowed to play freely, they were facing a lot of problems.

Suddenly she heard a pitiful cry of somebody in pain. She went to the place where she heard the cry and saw Mogambo screaming as his foot was stuck between two big stones and he experienced great pain in his ankle which hampered his move.

Preeti could not stop herself going to Mogambo to help him but after reaching there she stood quietly. Mogambo marked her duality and called her softly to help him out so that he could at least reach his residence.

Preeti silently helped Mogambo in walking and instead of taking him to his residence she took him to the physician and stayed there till Mogambo's treatment.

Without uttering a single word she took Mogambo to his house and then turned to leave. But Mogambo stopped her and thanked her politely. Then he called her and asked if he could do anything for her.

But Preeti was still silent. Mogambo realized that the child was afraid because of his behavior only. So he promised Preeti never to be rigid again and also promised that he would allow the children to play in the playground also. He said that now he realized how everybody is important in our lives and how painful it is to be alone.

After hearing this Preeti smiled and said happily, 'Mogambo Khush Hua!!'... And then she went happily to give this news to her friends.
