Inside Me

Among 30 students in a class, only one can become a class leader. Among 30 participants in a game, only one can become a winner. Definitely which cant be me. I woke up that day with the same thought or maybe every day.

By the time I reached the school, my principal was delivering the speech about Independent India, being it was independence day and soon prize distribution was started. The principal was announcing the winners of various games that were held on the occasion of independence day. Slowly everyone of my class went on the stage and received their prizes. Among all the winners, I was astonished by winning only one, Srinu, my classmate. Till the last term, he was with me in coming last, but now he received first prize in Chess.

That day I came up with one more thought that among 30 students in my class I was the only loser. Sometimes accepting the thoughts are far easier than realizing facts.

After receiving the prize, he came to me and said, either cry on your fate or create your own fate. For the first time, I have seen someone as a real winner.

That day I accepted the fact, In the battlefield of life, with trust confidence and hope as the warriors, failure can never stand alive.
