Who is a child?

Age is not the first thought which pops

It is the image of happiness and fun

It is the period of no responsibility and joy

It is the period of growth and knowledge

Most people criticise the children of today

We shrug and still follow the societal example

The children of today have lost something beautiful

Today parents are forced to make the conscious decision

Of banning cell phones and electronics

It is seen as an achievement

Rather than a habit

We look in awe if they play in the rain

We talk as if it is a miracle

We force them to be responsible

We force them to be adults

Let's not rob them of the joy of childhood
