My Mother My World

A diamond is rare 

But you are rarer 

A goddess us fair 

But you are fairer 

An angel is pure

But you are purer 

You not only guided me 

While I was growing up..

Also taught how to walk strongly 

On my own down the super highway of my life

I prayed to God for a loving mother 

And for a caring friend 

God granted both of my wishes by giving me my mom. 

You were, are, and will always be my bff....

You cannot imagine 

how much I love you. 

You cannot guess  how much I think  about you.

Even so,  that is all nothing 

Compared to what you have done for  me 

It takes a special and  endearing kind of love 

To sacrifice everything  for someone else:

A mother's love. Thank you for sacrificing so 

much so that I could  have a chance at  happiness

You are  the absolute best,  Mom!
