Alice In Alien Land

Contemplating way back then

It all started again

Skipping the reasons she thought would be

But she failed because it was now a wider span

Priorities, situation and everything around her had changed

The mandatory life changes and move on she meant

There were devils out and around her

And one inbreding within her

Old distractions, her constant favourite had been few

But that old had already found new

She was dissipating herself in 'self absorption'

"Hold on! I don't know the meaning of the word you just mentioned."

Less adept at this incarnation

"Mom I am happy", the on-repeat mirror sessions.

These things might take forever to settle

But meanwhile would put her on her mettle.

Incessantly she would cross every boundary

To turn dreams into obstinacy

Growing and glowing would be the cherry on top

Tirelessly striving to be a better human in this solitary walk.
