The Mournful Laughter
The Mournful Laughter
Who says that only laughter is contagious?
Aren't the mournful tears too, suspicious!
An old melody, a weeping apology.
a childhood tale, a face so pale.
Aren't these the mind-travellers?
Establishing your thoughts as time travellers.
Reminder to some unyielded yearnings,
flashback of maliciously losing your learnings.
The lost sand from that tiresome hand,
Or the days you lived with that lively band.
People laugh remembering their falls,
pleasure in pain is what one recalls!
Laughter is shared and the mourning too,
Their love and hate relation is known to few.
