And the hairs on my head

I am trapped within myself

Pushing

Turning

Wrestling

With the force that keeps me

Locked


I'm a fish caught in a net

A bird dying in its cage

Every pore a prison

My heart watching between bars

Trying to understand

How to break this limit

That holds me down
