City Sleeps 2
City Sleeps 2
The street lights dim-down,
Draining both sight and sound.
With wet dew on the ground,
No one awake within the town.
The pothole-ridden roads,
Filled with dirt and mold.
After the summer heat-
Enter the winds so cold.
Whispering through the leaves,
Moonlight glimpses on the street.
Gray fog draped like sheets,
As the sidewalk sleeps.
