To my mother in heaven

Up from the heaven, SHE smiles 

I do feel the warmth, so what if the distance is in miles

SHE acts like a guarding Angel, wherever I go

Guiding me to the right path, when I fail to do so

Yes, SHE doesn't come and cook when I feel hungry

This fact, sometimes, makes me very angry

That moment I close my eyes and make a wish

And feel the breeze around me that blows a gentle kiss 

Yes, I do crave for her physical existence 

Every now and then, I do feel her absence

There is a reason why a mother's love has the purest form

No matter where she is, her love will always protect you from every storm 

Now, nothing on Earth is frightening for me

I know that SHE is there above, fighting for me

I look up at the sky and try to find you among those stars

Behind which you hide and heal my scars

I envy how lucky are they to be with you

On this day, I pray that on my behalf,

They tightly hug you
