Nubivagant Nights

The sun which once shone bright,

Is now setting.

The mirror which once glowed bright,

Now isn’t much attracting.

Bright clothes, spotless white,

Is gradually darkening.

Time never stops for anyone,

A fact, that’s saddening.

Looking for the old times,

But they are impossible to find.

All I have are memories,

Etched in my mind.

I wanna travel back in time,

But nature isn’t that kind.

Time never stops for anyone,

No matter how much I tried.

Not to be forgotten,

All the memories I had.

I had a lot of experiences,

Some good, and some bad

I have been through a lot of moments,

Some were happy and some were sad.

Time never stops for anyone,

It’s actually not that bad!

Looking at these youngsters,

Reminds me of my past.

I was crazy and immature,

But it didn’t last.

Feels like just yesterday I was a child.

Oh! Time moves so fast.

Time never stops for anyone,

But sometimes, it’s for the best.

Everyday is a new challenge,

I was so busy, that I didn’t see the time.

I have seen infant-hood, I have seen childhood,

I have seen everything offered by time.

Now I’m left with a pen and a paper,

And a few words to rhyme

Time never stops for anyone,

And it always leaves another mountain to climb.
